Testimonials

Thankfully for me I was lucky enough to know of the LEV CHAIM organisation and as soon as I came out the doctors office I called them and cried on the phone. The support was phenomenal and totally discreet. Within hours I had an appt with a consultant and within 3 days I had had all the tests I needed, completely funded by LEV CHAIM. Thankfully for me, I was in the clear and the worry was reduced to days instead of weeks. But for some people by the time they are diagnosed it’s too late. Please help LEV CHAIM by donating just one pound a week, it may make the difference between life and death for someone.

It’s unbelievable how Lev-Chaim support by easying the burden and shortening waiting times. I’m sure that without this help everything would have looked different.
One can truly realise and appreciate how saving such an organisation is, but only if he needs it himself.

E.S.

When you’re at the doctor all you want to hear is reassurance that everything is fine. Some antibiotics, a cream or just being told to rest up is what you want to hear. But when your doctor tells you there’s abnormalities and wants to refer you for more tests to rule out cancer, it’s not what you want to hear.
The fear was immediate, my life flashed before my eyes, my kids growing up without a mum etc. Then the reality hits home and it’s a 2 week wait for an appointment with the consultant, a further 2weeks for a scan, another 2weeks until you get a biopsy and then another week for the results and through these weeks the fear is immense, the worry is continuous and the sleepless nights are endless. For some people weeks can turn into months until they get their diagnosis and this can be the difference between a treatable cancer and a terminal diagnosis.

We are extremely thankful to Sheva for her time and dedication and time in ensuring that we got the best care possible. We got an appointment the same day we reached out to her with a worrying symptom and throughout the process when more appointments were needed she held our hand offering advice and guidance.

Lev chaim has been a huge help in ensuring that much of the stress and fear in waiting was alleviated and the support provided was done timely and in a sensitive way. Wishing Lev Chaim much Hatzlocho and success to continue helping people in such a wonderful way.

A family member started having sudden severe headache attacks over a two week period which made us very concerned. We called Lev Chaim late friday afternoon. Within 15 min we had a brain scan appointment offered to us for Monday PM. A referral letter was sent by the Dr on Sunday and the appointment was confirmed. The care and efficiency which we experienced from Mrs Newman at Lev Chaim was truly unbelievable. Wishing Lev Chaim all the Hatzlocho it deserves. A grateful kehila member

No words can express my appreciation for your care, listening ear and arranging  fast testing.

rom the moment I contacted Lev Chaim I felt a huge burden was being taken from me and shared- I simply don’t know how I would have coped emotionally without the constant support, empathy and personal care that was given every step of the way. Had I had to wait  endlessly for my first appointment it would have been quite unbearable and a tremendous emotional stress at such an agonising time. Unable to afford private care I couldn’t believe when Sheva told me Lev Chaim finance it in order to speed up the process- what a phenomenal chessed!
